This Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course is particularly aimed at colleagues working with children under 18. It is suitable for au pairs, nannies, childminders, nursery and pre-school staff, sport and leisure staff, crèche leaders, parents, and anyone responsible for the welfare of children. This paediatric first aid course is recognised by OFSTED and includes the requirements of the appointed person in the workplace.
It is a thorough course, covering major injuries, child-specific illnesses and common childhood medical conditions, equipping the learner to be confident and capable of dealing with any medical emergency in your setting. One day is in the classroom, where there are plenty of practical elements to the course; the other day is online, using a modern and interactive e-learning package.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a paediatric requal course, so if your PFA qualification is about to expire, you can just re-book on another 2 day course. This does, however, mean that you will have plenty of time to develop your skills and feel confident that your staff are well qualified.
Course duration: 1 Day face-to-face course (6 hours), and another 6hrs online, which can be done within a 4 week period.
