First Aid for Mental Health (Senior School Staff) (2 Day)
This Level 3 2-day course provides colleagues with an exceptionally thorough knowledge of specific mental health disorders, the support and treatments offered. Colleagues will learn how to start a conversation, offer mental health first aid, and signpost the person towards professional help. The course covers ways in which a positive mental health culture can be supported within a workplace, and time will be given to brainstorming specific initiatives that you and your school can implement to support and improve the wellbeing of your staff body. This course could be offered as a certificated course for a group of up to 16 colleagues, who will take responsibility for the mental health and wellbeing of your school. The course concludes with oral questioning and a multiple choice quiz.
