This Level 3 regulated course is particularly aimed at colleagues who need an essential level of first aid training, and essential first aid to cover playground duty, lunch supervisors, classroom assistants and teachers.  This course also acts as Day 1 of the 3-day First Aid at Work, and you may wish for some delegates to attend day 1 of the longer course. Topics covered include:

• Role of the First Aider
• Seizures
• Primary survey
• Choking
• Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED)
• Minor injuries
• Wounds, bleeding, and shock
• Recovery position
